Last week you may have caught on stories that I had been invited to a night out at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield. Valley Centertainment is located next to the Meadowhall Retail Park and is where you will find the Cinema, Bowling, Laser Tag, Mini Golf and a bunch of different restaurants. It’s a one stop shop for a fun day or night out for kids and adults alike!
Myself and the lovely Billie met Jack who was in charge of showing us all the fun Valley Centertainment had to offer. We started at Paradise Island Mini Golf . Now I will warn you mini golf is not my spiritual gifting, it really is just a whack it and see. I was excited by the rainbow of choice when it came to the golf balls and then promptly chose one that went with my outfit! The course is fun with great props and talking birds all along the trail.
We then moved on the Frankie & Bennys for some dinner. I had the meatballs with spaghetti which were really yummy, I had missed lunch so was starving! Billie had the Parmigiano and that also looked really good. I haven’t been in a Frankie & Bennys for years but I was surprised by the speed and quality of the food, the staff were also lovely!
After dinner we moved onto Thirty Nine Desserts. Thirty Nine Desserts is a new dessert restaurant located next to Pizza Express. For years I have been saying to Greig I wish there were just dessert restaurants like there are in American and Canada. Anyone that knows my know I’d skip a meal and just eat sweets and they did not disappoint. The menu was amazing! You can also create your own dessert from scratch! I went for the white chocolate cookie dough with ice cream and strawberries which was A-H-mazing! Billie had the waffle and Jack had a crepe. All three desserts were beautifully presented and delicious. I wish I had of eaten less dinner because I was so full!
If you are local to Sheffield Valley Centertainment is a great was to spend an afternoon. After getting home and gushing over the desert Greig and I already have plans to go for dessert at 39 desserts after our next cinema trip!
Our round of Mini Golf and food on the evening were kindly gifted in exchange for this review but as always all views are my own.
